Welcome to Julia Hibble Reflexology in Erith/Bexleyheath, Kent. Within easy reach of Belvedere, Barnehurst and the surrounding areas.
My name is Julia Hibble and I experienced my first reflexology treatment about 30 years ago and it stayed with me until 2019 when I took the decision to go for it myself! I trained for 9 months at the London School of Reflexology with Louise Keet, the Principal, and author of the Reflexology Bible. I qualified the following year with the ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology.
I am a full member of the Association of Reflexologists, which means I am required to hold Public Liability Insurance, follow the AoR Code of Practice to maintain professional standards, as well as committing to new learning and awareness through regular Continuing Professional Development.
Reflexology is a relaxing, holistic therapy that aims to rebalance the whole person and various forms can be traced back thousands of years.
Continued stresses and everyday worries can have a negative impact on wellbeing, leading to a range of symptoms, which can include: headaches and migraines, emotional upset, sleep issues, digestive problems, tension, irritability and more. Clients can totally relax and take some time for themselves while receiving their treatment in a safe space.
I will apply gentle but firm pressure to the reflexes to encourage increased circulation and to stimulate the body’s healing processes, helping a return to balance and wellbeing.
Please note that reflexology is in no way a substitute for professional medical advice and cannot be used either to prescribe, diagnose or treat any individual conditions.
Reflexology is a wonderful way of maintaining your body's healthy balance and general wellbeing, reducing the stresses and tensions that come with busy lifestyles and giving us a space to reflect on the mind as well as the body.
Reflexology can induce a deep state of relaxation, which improves the effectiveness of the treatment. Relaxing helps relieve tension and aids circulation, increasing the flow of nutrients, oxygen and energy to all parts of the body, and helping with the removal of toxins.
While it is not a cure, Reflexology can be particularly helpful in managing many health conditions, especially constant or recurring ones that we might have come to accept over time as being a normal part of life.
